| Test Analyst
The Balance Innovations Quality Assurance team is seeking a highly motivated Test Analyst. This individual will ensure that information systems products and services meet minimum organization standards and end-user requirements. This includes thorough testing of software for proper operation and freedom from defects, documentation and metrics tracking, and working across multiple teams to resolve issues.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Analyze specifications and requirements to create test cases
- Prepare test plans and scripts to meet project deliverables
- Prepare and execute SQL to build and verify test data sets and test results
- Prepare software life cycle documentation per organizational standards
- Recommend and execute improvements to procedures
Requirements / Qualifications
- Three to five years experience with
automated testing tools such as IBM Rational Suite or HP's Quality Center and QuickTestProfessional
- Relational database experience with SQL Server or Oracle
- Experience in full life-cycle testing methodologies
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in quality-related discipline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Active team player who demonstrates sound judgement and interpersonal skills
- Bi-lingual in French or Spanish a plus
- Adaptable in a dynamic, yet iterative, development environment
- Work in a retail environment not required, but helpful
